My vision with the website...
My vision with this website is to give as much information and details as possible so that you are able to travel to a destination and see all the sights and attractions, following my suggestions and directions.
Through my work as a professional tourleader and also when I have planned the three times, I have been on a 6-month backpacker tour – I have researched a lot of information on the internet.
Usually, I can find a lot of good and useful information on different websites, but most of the time I had to research further than what I could find on one website.
Many times, you can only find “Top 10 lists” or “What to see”-suggestions, with 3-5 lines of information about the specific attraction. It doesn’t give much useful information, such as what exactly to see there, what’s the story about the attraction, when is the best time to go there, and very importantly – how to get there.
I don’t mean to disrespect other websites, but personally, I often wish for more information than most of them actually give.
My goal with this website is to try to describe things in detail – so you will be able to get all the information at one site.

So it’s not only to make a nice Top 10 list of things to see, with some perfect stock photos. I will try to give more in-depth information and details – and things I will add to the description will be things such as:
When will it be the best time to go see a given destination or attraction?
Is it, for instance, best in the summertime or should you go early in the morning because there aren’t so many tourists and so on?
How do you get there?
Is it best to take the local bus there or should you walk there because there might be some things you can see and explore on the way?
In what order should you see the attractions mentioned?
This could save you valuable time – and also you won’t waste time with unnecessary transportation?
Where should you stay?
This is actually a very important aspect of planning a tour. You can save a lot of time and transportation if you stay in the right area. That could be close to the things you want to see or close to transportation options.
So as you can see, I will try to give a more descriptive and detailed explanation about all these things – so you shouldn’t have to go and made further research on other websites. By giving you as much useful information as I can, it will hopefully make your search, for information easier.

My goal is also to focus on giving some special information about things and places I think are worth a visit. Things, you might not find in a normal guidebook or brochure.
Due to my work as a tourleader, I sometimes go places and visit things that you normally won’t find descriptions about on a travel website.
That could be information about a local Cuban farmer, that opens up his farm and home for visitors, or where exactly the best place in Kyoto is to spot Geishas, or what side of the tour bus to sit in, when you drive along the amazing Amalfi Coast in Italy, or what entrance to enter in Pompeji, so you will avoid all the other tourists for the first 1 hour there, and so on.
You will find these useful and unique tips on all the destinations and attractions that I describe on the website.
Those are my visions and goals with this website – and I have big hopes, that you will find the information useful and hopefully save you some time planning your trip since you will find a lot of useful information on my website.
I also try to make it easier for you – to plan your perfect vacation.
I have a great experience with this, first, because I have planned all my backpacking tours by myself, but also due to my work as a tourleader.
Here the planning is extremely important since I’m traveling with a group of people, where things must work out perfectly since we are on a time limit.
We must see all the major sights and attractions – but also to see them in the right order, to optimize the time as much as possible.
This unique and deep knowledge that I have acquired is what I try to give to you.

I try to share some of my personal knowledge about different destinations on our amazing planet.
You will find in-depth descriptions with a lot of focus on what to see, how to get there, what not to miss, etc. I might have a different angle on things, than normal, since I am a professional tourleader.
Also, you will find walking routes and different itineraries – which I am sure you will find very informative and very useful. The walking tours are the same I use myself when I’m guiding.
If you follow my itineraries – you will see the major attractions and more. I always try to include some hidden gems and places you usefully won’t find on other travel websites.
